Purpose: The purpose of the fund is to provide scholarships, for the purchase of required class books, to A+ students enrolled in a college or a university in pursuit of a two or four-year college degree in a field related to Leadership, Management and/or Community
Service.

Criteria: In order to be eligible for the scholarship, the student must: Be a full time student and mMaintain a minimum GPA of 2.50, or higher, and enroll with a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester, and (Include a current transcript with application.)

Guidelines: Scholarships will be awarded on an annual basis and disbursed, on a per semester basis. Recipients must provide an official transcript within ten (10) days of the end of the semester completed, certifying the hours of credit taken and the GPA maintained , along with a notice of intent to continue, ,in order to qualify for next semester funding. The scholarship is not automatically renewable.

Qualifications and deadlines MUST be adhered to for consideration.

Amount: $1000 ($250 per semester for four semesters within two consecutive academic years.

Selection process: The scholarship award selection process is handled entirely by the Scholarship Advisory Committee or their assigns of the Northland JC Foundation the

NJCF will be responsible for notifying applicants as to their award or denial of the scholarship.
